"Buying support was frustrating"
I tried using era.com when I was looking to buy a home, I think it was around late spring or maybe early summer, and the support just wasn’t very helpful. I had a few basic questions about how the buying process worked, but the replies were slow and didn’t really answer what I was asking. It felt like I kept having to follow up just to get anywhere. After a while I gave up and started looking somewhere else. Overall, not a great experience.

"Closing was okay, just needed some pushing"
My closing with ERA was alright overall, not a bad experience, but I wouldn’t say it was totally smooth either, a few things got moving quickly, especially getting the paperwork started

There were a couple times where I had to reach out myself just to figure out what was happening, and near the end it started to feel slower than I expected, which made it a little stressful

It all went through fine in the end, so I’m not upset about it, I just wish the communication had been a bit better and the updates came sooner

"The communication was awful. Their messages were..."
The communication was awful. Their messages were confusing, and half the time I was left wondering what I was supposed to do next. I had to keep asking the same questions over and over, which got really exhausting and frustrating. The whole experience left me feeling stressed and disappointed.

"Selling support was honestly a mess"
I tried getting help with selling my house, it was frustrating. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and the replies were slow and not all that helpful. It felt like I had to keep chasing things down myself just to get any kind of update.

"Felt a little caught off guard"
I don’t know, maybe this is just how it normally goes, but I didn’t love how the extra fees came up so late in the process. In my head I was like, “Wait, why am I just hearing about this now?” The agent was fine otherwise, but it made the whole thing feel a bit less upfront than I expected.

"Didn’t feel like much negotiation support"
Compared to experiences I’ve had before, I expected my agent to be more active in pushing on price or terms. This time, it mostly felt like they were just passing messages back and forth instead of really trying to help me get a better deal

"I still remember standing there, tired..."
I still remember standing there, tired and annoyed, realizing the listing info wasn't even close to what was actually available. It felt like such a waste of my time, and it reminded me of those moments when you plan your day around something only to be let down completely.

"Fees were mostly clear, but still a bit annoying"
The fees were mostly explained well enough, but a few still felt unclear to me. I had to waste energy going back and checking things more than I should have, which was frustrating.

"The pricing felt misleading"
Maybe I’m a little picky about wanting clear numbers upfront, but the pricing info on era.com felt way off from what I was actually seeing. It left me more confused than anything, and I really expected a better ballpark before spending time digging around. it was frustrating.

"The agent was fine, just not anything special"
The agent was professional enough, so I can’t really complain too much. I mean... they answered my questions, but the replies felt a little rushed, like they were trying to move on quickly. Overall, it was okay, just not amazing

"Support felt like an afterthought"
I reached out through era.com about a listing, the customer service left a lot to be desired. It took quite a while to hear back, and when I finally did, the response made it seem like my original question hadn’t really been looked at. I ended up repeating myself twice, which got old fast. The website itself is fine, but the support side feels like it could use more attention. Not a total disaster, just more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Property search felt frustrating and rushed"
I tried using era.com to look for homes, and it just got frustrating fast. The filters kept resetting on me, some of the listings seemed outdated, and the map took forever to load, which made the whole thing feel more stressful than it needed to be.

I was already feeling pressured to find something quickly, so clicking on houses and running into missing details or random redirects really didn’t help. Maybe other people have a better experience with it, but for me it felt like a waste of time, and I ended up switching to another site.

"I had to keep chasing my agent..."
I had to keep chasing my agent just to get basic updates, which started to feel a bit suspicious after a while. Like, were my messages disappearing into some secret inbox or what? They did eventually reply, but the delays made the whole process way more stressful than it needed to be.

"Their marketing just didn’t sit right with..."
Their marketing just didn’t sit right with me. It looked outdated, and half the time I wasn’t even sure what they were actually offering. Maybe I’m being skeptical, but it made me wonder if they’re trying to hide a lack of real value behind vague messaging. Overall, it was disappointing

"Support basically disappeared after closing"
Once the transaction was finished, it felt like the support just vanished. I sent a couple emails afterward and the replies were slow, vague, and didn’t really answer what I was asking.

I wasn’t looking for anything complicated, just some help with follow-up paperwork and figuring out who I was supposed to contact next. But after closing, it felt like I was COMPLETELY on my own.
The buying part itself was fine, so I’ll give them that, but the post-transaction support was really disappointing. I’d be hesitant to use era.com again if I had another option.
